Meet Taylor Logeais: LALACS Minor Posted on January 16th, 2012 by

Hi, my name is Taylor Logeais and I am from Minnetonka, Minnesota. I am a double major in Political Science and Spanish with minors in LALACS and Peace Studies. Clearly, I have a wide range of interests but they all manage to connect with one another! In addition to my studies, I am kept busy with my extra-curricular activities that include Spanish tutoring, Model UN, Sigma Delta Pi and working in the Gustavus Admissions’ Office!

While I will not have a chance to study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country while at Gustavus, I have been lucky enough to travel to Peru, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico and Spain to enjoy each country’s unique culture while using my Spanish. However, the spring semester of my junior year I will hopefully be working in a Spanish-speaking embassy as an intern though the Washington Institute Internship program in Washington, D.C., which will be a fantastic opportunity to combine all of my academic interests into one exciting experience!
